EELOVI. Suomalainen design-tuotemerkki, joka haluaa muotoilla arjen uudelleen. Eelovi edustaa Suomea, joka jatkuu Helsingin takana. Paikkakuntia, joissa käydään joululomalla mutta palataan uudeksivuodeksi kaupunkiin. Eelovi tarjoaa yksinkertaisia ja ajattomia arjen asioita kauniissa paketissa. Meillä meni heti tilaukseen keltainen lintukoto. Saa nähdä mille seinälle se päätyy.

Eelovi is new Finnish design label that wants to reform your everyday living. Eelovi represents the part on Finland that begins on the other side of Helsinki. Places you visit in Christmas but return to the city by New Years Eve. Eelovi offers simple and timeless things in beautiful package. Soon that pretty yellow lintukoto will have it´s new home at our place. 

   

ELSANOMIA

Elsanomian Helmituoli, jättisuuret puiset pallot, kuin Aarikan koruissa. Pehmeä ja lämmin istua. Nyt tuolia saa myös lasten kokoa.

Helmituoli, large wooden balls, just like in Aarikka jewelries. Soft and warm to sit. Now you can have it also in smaller size for children. From Elsanomia.

  

KOKOPUU-KITCHEN

"Se on syntynyt suomalaisessa metsässä, tulen ja veden ympärille. Se on syntynyt suomalaisesta pirtistä suomalaiseen pirttiin, luomaan kodille ilon, turvan ja ystävyyden keskipisteen. Se on muotoiltu elämään pitkään ja ilahduttamaan yhä uudestaan. Se on lähipuuta josta kauneus on veistetty esiin. Se on Isku Kokopuu."

Isku lanseerasi vuoden 2010 habitare messuilla Kokopuu-keittiömalliston. Mallisto koostuu erilaisista saarekemalleista, liesituulettimista sekä kalusteista. Materiaalina on suomalainen koivu. Tuotteella on yli 50-vuoden laadullinen ja esteettinen käyttöikä. Kokopuu malliston on suunnitellut muotoilija Jaani Vaahtera. Hienoa työtä sanomme me!

THE FINNISH BLOOD IN ME on Ruotsissa asuvan suomalaissyntyisen suunnittelijan motto. Sami Juhani Kallio on ylpeä juuristaan. Uusimmassa kokoelmassaan hän ammentaa niistä, ja on inspiroitunut lapsuuden muistoista. Kallion suunnittelemat tuotteet on kuvattu urbaanissa ympäristössä, ja niistä hehkuu lämpö ja kotoisuus, juuri ne muistot. Joku voi nähdä tuolissa Ilmari Tapiovaaran pinnat taivutettuna uuteen muotoon. Juurilla on väliä.

Sami Juhani Kallio, Born in Helsinki, Finland 15-07-1975. Live and work as a feelance designer in Gothenburg, Sweden. THE FINNISH BLOOD IN ME - Collection inspired, and interpreted of childhood memories from Finland. In the easy chair SLICED you can maybe see a glimpse that the inspiration is from Ilmari Tapiovaara. The armature – WORKSHOP is a reminder from all the workshops and the STOOL from the department store that we visited. A collection where material and detail are in focus. Nothing strange or conceptual, just memories and function.

SUMMER

Suomi ja kesä. Siskon mökillä. Ikean aurinkotuoli, kirpparilta kotiutunut. Tuoli palaa Ikean mallistoon. Valkoisena, mustana ja vaalean vihreänä. Upeaa!

Finnish summer. At my sisters summer cottage. Ikea`s easy chair, from the flea market. Easy chair is coming back to Ikea in white, black and green colour. Great!
